We are the Eckardt family and we manage this camp site for 10 years now. Many of our guests like to come back to our camp site, because they know that we are truly concerned about the well-being of our guests! Our well situated campground, in the middle of the landscape protection area (close to the river Rhine) invites to relax or to make a bycicle tour downtown (which is only 4.5 KMs away) for shopping or just for going for a stroll. Along the cycle ways on both sides of the river it is possible to cycle calmly into town as well as you can reach it by tram or by foot, just as you like!

The city of Cologne with its vitality, its open-minded character and its great variety of things to do offers enough for people of all age.

When you return tiredly in the evenings we'll make sure that you are able to spend a quiet night on the camp site, as the 22.00 - 7.00 hrs - quiet-time is truly meant. But as we have nice guests, this is usually not a problem, respect and tolerance are important for us.

Wether you are travelling through or staying for a while with us here at the camp site, you'll find a relaxing atmosphere. In our Tante-Emma-shop where we've got also biological products you can buy things for dinner, a good bottle of wine, cold beer is always available - and even rolls can bee ordered for the following morning. - You see, we try our best to make your stay as comfortable as possible!
